FYI: QGIS Mobile is running on my Motorola X, Developer Edition. Of course the screen is way too small for it to be of much use, but I wanted to try.
Thank you,
Martin
OnePlus One (CyanogenMod 11s) works with shapefiles, some potential issues with spatialite.

This is interesting. On any other device we tested we had more problems with GDAL provided layers (including shapefile) while spatialite worked quite reliably. Can you give us more information about your issues?

It works considerably well for basic map viewing tasks but on top of the feature form some buttons overlap. I guess two (partially) different interfaces optimized for smartphones and tablets will need to be implemented to get things right.
Samsung Galaxy S III running a CyanogenMod 11-based ROM. Android 4.4.4.
QField runs on the device. I’m not sure why others would claim that the screen is too small on the devices above for QField to be useful. Considering the small number of controls nearly the entire screen area is devoted to the map. This would be like saying Google Maps doesn’t work on a smartphone.
There are certainly stability and data loading issues but it certainly runs on the device.
Not working in nexus 10 running lollipop 🙁 You told me so, but I was really hoping you were wrong (I really need QGis in my device)

Hi, I am thinking of getting a compatible tab which shows your GPS position. Can someone please help whether Nexus 7 or any other tab that shows the GPS position on a georeferenced Raster?

Then it’s time to copy a QGIS project to the device and load it.

In a BQ Aquaris 4.5 (Android 4.4) ,it works with some problems (slow sometimes, strange behaviours with screen (flashes with some rectangles in one side, for instance).
My project is a test just with one csv file that’s being watched in the original project. It looks that watching behaviour is not working at all.
Apart from this, it is difficult to locate where the project files live.
Best regards and thanks

By the way, Some times, mostly when you change application or device switches off screen, the qfield screen “halves”, with a sightly greysh rectangle which occupies the right half of the phone screen. The screen flashes I mentioned in the previous message are related to this.

Project data does not show, ie, i see the ‘project name’ and an click on ‘open’, but none of the three shp files show, then it normally crashes. The total shp files size is 90mb. Does projected data work, or must it be geographic (GCS WGS84)?

Hi Christine, while we didn’t have this device in our labs to test it yet, looking at the specs it looks like a good candidate for being compatible with QField, regarding hardware performance as well as the Android version 8.
